If you are planning a wedding at The Barn at Paradise, this beautiful North Texas wedding venue is one of the most perfect locations for couples who want a wedding that feels romantic, rustic, elegant, and full of countryside charm. With a modern rustic chapel, a large white barn reception space, open fields, a pond, and stunning golden sunsets, The Barn at Paradise is truly a dream wedding venue for photography and videography.
We had the honor of photographing and filming this incredible wedding day, and it was filled with beautiful design, meaningful moments, a huge wedding party, and one of the most fun dance floors of the year.
As a Denton and Dallas wedding photography and videography team, we love working at The Barn at Paradise because the property offers so many beautiful locations for photos throughout the entire wedding day.

Engagement Photos at The Murrell Park with Their Fur Baby
Before their wedding day, this couple chose to do their engagement photos with their fur baby, which made their session even more personal and meaningful. Engagement sessions are one of the best ways for couples to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day and to get to know how we pose, guide, and photograph them.
Their engagement session included walking through the fields, playing with their dog, and watching the sunset together. These sessions always help couples feel relaxed and confident on their wedding day because they already know what to expect.

We offer engagement sessions, wedding photography, wedding videography, drone coverage, and photo + video combo packages, and engagement sessions are something we highly recommend to all of our couples.

Wedding Colors and Design | Sage Green, Coral and Ivory Wedding Palette
This wedding design was absolutely beautiful and fit the venue perfectly. Their wedding colors were sage green, coral, and ivory with loose greenery, which worked beautifully with the countryside setting and rustic barn aesthetic.
The bridesmaids wore mix-matched green gowns, which photographed beautifully because the different shades and textures added depth and softness to the bridal party photos. The bridesmaids also wore cowboy boots, which added a fun Texas element and matched the barn venue perfectly.
The groomsmen wore tan pants, boots, navy jackets, and champagne colored ties, which coordinated perfectly with the wedding colors and created a polished rustic look. The groom wore a cowboy hat, which made the wedding feel very personal and true to their style.
This wedding was a perfect example of how couples can combine elegant wedding design with rustic Texas style and create a wedding that feels timeless and unique.
The Ceremony at The Barn at Paradise Chapel
One of the most beautiful features of The Barn at Paradise is the modern chic rustic chapel. The chapel features arched windows and a modern all-glass back wall, which allows natural light to pour into the ceremony space and creates a bright, romantic atmosphere.
The glass back wall also allows guests to see the countryside behind the couple while they say their vows, which makes the ceremony feel even more special and connected to the landscape around the venue.
From a photography and videography perspective, this chapel is incredible because the natural light makes ceremony photos look soft, clean, and timeless. The light coming through the arched windows creates a beautiful glow throughout the ceremony.
Watching the bride walk down the aisle in this chapel was one of the most emotional moments of the day.
Bridal Party Photos | Big Wedding Party and Mix Matched Bridesmaid Dresses
This couple had a large wedding party, which made the day so fun and full of energy. Large wedding parties always bring so much excitement, laughter, and celebration to the wedding day.
We photographed bridal party photos around the property, near the barn, and in the fields. The mix-matched bridesmaid dresses in green tones looked incredible in photos, and the cowboy boots added such a fun Texas wedding vibe.
The groomsmen’s navy jackets and champagne ties balanced the rustic elements and made the bridal party look polished and cohesive while still fitting the barn venue perfectly.
We always guide our bridal parties through walking, laughing, cheering, and interacting so the photos feel natural and full of life instead of stiff and overly posed.
Sunset Photos at The Barn at Paradise | Golden Fields and Pond
Sunset at The Barn at Paradise is absolutely magical. The property features golden grass fields, a pond, and wide open sky, which creates the most beautiful golden hour light for bride and groom portraits.
We always recommend couples step away for sunset portraits because this is when the light is soft, golden, and incredibly romantic. These are usually the photos couples print for their homes and albums because they feel so timeless and emotional.
During sunset, we photographed the couple walking through the fields, holding hands by the pond, and watching the sun go down together. These quiet moments are always some of the most meaningful moments of the wedding day.
We also captured drone photos and video during sunset, which showed the entire property, the pond, the fields, and the venue from above. Drone footage adds so much to wedding films and galleries because it shows the full story of the venue and the landscape.
We offer drone coverage in many of our photo + video wedding packages, and The Barn at Paradise is one of the best venues for aerial photos and video.
Reception in the White Barn | Shiplap, Farmhouse Tables and Dancing
The reception took place inside the huge white barn, which features white shiplap walls, farmhouse tables, and high ceilings. The reception space feels bright, clean, and elegant while still maintaining the rustic barn feel.
One of the most emotional moments of the reception was when the bride dedicated her bouquet to her mother, which was such a meaningful moment for everyone in the room.
After dinner and speeches, the dance floor opened, and the reception turned into an incredible party with tons of dancing, laughter, and celebration.
Receptions like this are always so fun to photograph and film because they are full of real moments — hugs, dancing, laughter, and celebration.
Private Last Dance and Sparkler Exit
At the end of the night, the couple shared a private last dance, which is one of our favorite wedding trends. A private last dance gives couples a few quiet minutes alone together at the end of the wedding day to take everything in and celebrate together.
After their private last dance, guests lined up outside for a sparkler exit, which is always such a fun and exciting way to end the wedding day. Sparkler exits look especially beautiful at barn venues because the open sky and dark background make the sparklers stand out even more.
This was the perfect ending to an incredible wedding day.
